If you’re looking for an inside-only cat that will make you laugh and keep you company, we hope you’ll consider welcoming Biscuits into your home. He’s been a wonderful companion to us over the past 5 years and we’ve had so many amazing memories with him that we hope will continue with a new owner in the future. Here are some ways we’d describe Biscuits:

– Comedian: He’ll always find a bin to sleep in, a sun spot to lay in or cardboard to sit on, he meows when you shout his name, he always headbutts your hand when he’s hungry and chirps at birds as he watches out the window
– Companion: Biscuits always greets us at the door when we come back home and sometimes sits on the window sill waiting for us to arrive. He sits against our legs and sits on our laps (having a comfortable blanket helps) and sometimes sleeps on our stomachs at night
– Chill & Low Maintenance: Biscuits is happy to spend time alone (like most cats) and we’ve never had to worry when leaving him at home by himself. We’ve left for 24 hours and as long as we leave food out for him, he is just fine. He likes attention, but is not needy. He uses his litter boxes perfectly and has never had any problems eating or drinking water (he loves to eat). He enjoys playing with feather toys and catnip toys, but doesn’t need that much exercise. Most of the time, you’ll find him sleeping or relaxing nearby and watching out the window.
– Vocal: This is one of our favorite Biscuits’ traits! He loves to talk. His meows are funny and can differ in pitch and frequency on a daily basis. Sometimes he’ll look at you, wait for eye contact and then meow when he sees you looking at him. It’s hilarious

He’s lived with a puppy for the past several months and has coexisted comfortably with him. We think he’ll do best in a home with minimal other pets (if there are other pets, ideally the home would be a more spacious house) and imagine that he will adjust quickly to a new home 🙂 He hasn’t lived with kids before, but has met a few and had no trouble interacting with them.

If you’re interested, please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have! We are happy to provide as much information as you need to see if Biscuits could be a good fit.
